Student Council

Your Student Council is busily preparing for the many end of year events and tasks that lie ahead.  These will include:

  • Nominations and voting for 2026 Leaders and Student Council;
  • Swimming Carnival – free dress at the event;
  • Remembrance Day – special whole of school parade; and
  • Celebration Day.

Make sure you keep an eye out at each of the events if you are attending to see what we are up to.

Maybe you might like to be a part of the Student Leaders / Student Council for 2026.  Nominations for these positions will open on Friday 12th September via email.

Available positions are:

  • School Captain – 2 x Primary; 2 x Secondary
  • House Captain – 1 for each house in both Primary (Years 5-6) and Secondary
  • Student Representatives – 2 for both Primary (Years 4-6) and Secondary

More details will be shared at our Whole School Assembly on Monday September 8.

Primary Eligibility

School Captain

Open to all CTSDE students, regardless of location. Student Council meetings can be attended virtually (on-line) and attend face-to-face events where possible. 

2 x Primary School Captains from Year 6 

2 x Secondary School Captains from Years 10-12 

House Captain

Preferably students who are able to attend Athletics and Swimming Carnivals and other face-to-face House Events. 

1 x Shelton House Captains from Year 5 and/or 6 

 

1 x Traegar House Captains from Year 5 and/or 6 

1 x Shelton House Captains from Years 10-12 

 

1 x Traegar House Captains from Years 10-12 

Student Representative
